Prince Harry Of Wales To Work In Conservation In Tanzania
Having finished serving the British army, Prince Harry Of Wales will carry out voluntary work in conservation in Africa, namely in Tanzania, Namibia, South Africa and Botswana for a period of 3 months.
It is understood the Prince will spend
the summer working with the Zoological Society of London and with
experts in wildlife protection.
The move follows a major conference on
illegal wildlife trade held in London on February 2014 that was
attended, among others, by Tanzanian President Jakaya Kikwete.Details of Prince Harry’s schedule in Tanzania has not yet been made public.
Tanzania has lost more than 65,000 elephants in the last five years, largely because of poaching.
