Demi Lovato’s Look Back At Her VMA Evolution Is Inspiring
We, like most people who caught a glimpse of Demi Lovato on the VMA red carpet
last night, were totally, 100% in love with it. We were, of course,
even more in love with her look when Demi shared that she felt as
beautiful as she looked.
Demi shared a photo of four looks from her past VMAs, and shared a
heartfelt caption, explaining that she’s come a long way since 2008,
when she asked for Spanx because she felt “fat” and was unhappy with the
way she looked. Thankfully, Demi writes she’s living a happy and
healthy life now, which is evident in how gorgeous she looked last
night.
We have been longtime fans of Demi and the positive body image she’s constantly championing, but this post comes off as especially sincere and important and hits us right in the feels. Looking beautiful is great, but feeling beautiful is even better and we are so thrilled that Demi has arrived at that point and is sharing her encouragement with her 36 million Facebook fans.
