Miss Australia Left Horribly Disfigured After Police Threw Grenade Into Her Bed While She Slept

Miss Australia was just disfig

ured by police after officers threw a flash bang grenade into her bed, while she was sleeping.
The model girlfriend of an alleged biker gang member, was targeted in what police are calling a “drug raid”.
As a result of her association with the accused, she was severely injured by police and now may lose her eye.
Felicia Djamirze, 28, had been sleeping inside her home, just north of Brisbane, with boyfriend Dean O’Donnell, 35, last week.
Djamirze was a former Miss Australia International and Miss Tourism Queen Australia. But now she has been left with third-degree burns after the police grenade blew up in her face.
Djamirze says that she is at risk of losing sight in her right eye and has already had two surgeries to repair what she is calling her “melted” hand.
The incident took place during an early morning raid last week. Police say they were looking for the drug ice, meth oil and steroids, according to an official Queensland Police statement.
The model and first-year law student found herself charged with drug trafficking now.
Her boyfriend has been charged for drugs and weapons, which are essentially completely illegal in Australia.
Djamirze is denying the charges against her. Her lawyer Chris Ford said that police did not help her when she was injured, and paramedics did not show up for 40 minutes.
?
Ford told the Daily Mail, “the police treated this like a military operation which was entirely unnecessary. There was a high level of both physical and electronic surveillance. The police must have known my client was sleeping in a confined area when they tossed the stun grenade into her bedroom.”
Ford told The Courier Mail “police rode in like cowboys [and] nearly killed my client.”
Djamirze is now suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder, as well as recovering from the horrifying attack.
Djamirze is a motivational speaker, in addition to being crowed Miss International Australia in 2013 and Miss Tourism Queen Australia in 2011.
Now, she says that she has devoted herself to raising funds for burns and trauma patients.
