James Rodriguez chased by under-cover police at 200 km/h on way to Real Madrid training [AS]
James Rodriguez has gotten off to a false start for 2016, as the Colombian ran into trouble with the law today.
The Real Madrid man was either in a serious rush, or was taking out his frustrations on the gas pedal, as he clocked up a speed of 200 k,/h on his way to the club’s Valdebebas training base.
The traffic police clocked his speed on the M-40 highway, and an under-cover car went in pursuit of the Colombian in his Audi.
After Karim Benzema’s trouble with the traffic police earlier in the season, Madrid appears to be turning into a club of boy racers.
According to AS, James faces a hefty fine as well as the possibility of losing his licence.
Following his latest strop after being subbed off by Rafa Benitez, this off-field transgression won’t be looked upon too kindly by the club hierarchy…
