But Simon Cowell was rendered speechless by talent hopeful Anton Stephan on Sunday night's episode of the X Factor.

The music industry veteran was served a long-overdue leveller which not only delighted viewers, but his fellow judges, too.

After having his facial expressions critiqued by the music mogul, the 45 year-old hopeful hit back with a jibe about Simon's Botox. 

When Simon said: 'My problem with you is that you have so many weird facial expressions', he responded with: 'Let me explain something, Simon.

'When you live in a world in which Botox is normal, facial expressions seem unusual. But if, like me and my friends, you can't afford it, your face moves'.
