South African queries over use of Gupta jet
here's been criticism in South Africa of Deputy President Cyril
Ramaphosa for flying in a private jet belonging to an Indian family with
close ties to President Jacob Zuma.
On Friday, a government
delegation led by Mr Ramaphosa flew to Japan on board an aircraft leased
from a company that is owned by the Gupta family.
The Guptas
came into the media spotlight in 2013, when their private plane, which
was carrying guests for a family wedding, was allowed to land at a South
African military base.
