SO MUCH BLOW!!
Coast Guard Seizes Nearly $200M Dollars Worth Of Cocaine From A Homemade Submarine!
About 16,000 pounds; that's how much cocaine the Coast Guard discovered afloat in a homemade submarine off the coast of Mexico on August 6, the biggest bust in Coast Guard history. Just how did they find it, and who had so much blow?
Silent Running
On August 6, a Coast Guard patrol
plane spotted this "coffin boat," so named for its shape, floating in
the middle of the ocean. The top had been painted blue, presumably to
avoid detection. The boat was designed to float low in the water as
well, so it would blend in with the water's surface.
